Upon acceptance of our Design Development Proposal we will issue an invoice prior to the commencement of each stage to cover the cost of architectural documentation, sub-contracted documentation (engineering and reports) and council submissions. This price will be provided with the Design Development Proposal in spreadsheet format, detailing all foreseeable expenses.

During construction, payments will be required in 7 contractual stages throughout the build. These will be clearly indicated on a spreadsheet and graphic programme prior to the commencement of any construction works. For a new house, payments are typically required stages:
* Construction deposit
* Base stage claim
* Frame stage claim
* Lock up
* Fixing stage claim
* Practical completion claim

We use the Housing Industry Association Limited: Plain Language Domestic Building Contract. In addition, we also include; a construction time-frame program, a progress payment schedule and a detailed letter of offer as a part of the contract.

Yes! We hold pre-arranged meetings with you on the construction site every fortnight. During this meeting, we update you on the process as well as document meeting minutes detailing our discussion and any actions that emerge in the meeting, along with out Builder Trend updates and communication.
