Lachlan Parade, Trevallyn.

Lachlan Parade’s site is typical of Launceston’s characteristics.

Undulating hills lend its hand to steep slopes and difficult access. Extensive design development was based around the hillside local with multiple levels and imposing features.
The home is presented as a majestic grandeur on the hillside of Launceston, with views extending from the township right down the Tamar River, the living space immerses itself in the scene while forming a cocoon for the occupants.

The design was geared around Mid-Century influences and the use of strong grounding forms. The use of stone crazy cladding, dark finishes and deep timber colours keeps the warmth of the interior with an ever-so-classy aesthetic. This is not a dwelling for light airy spaces but for bold strong founding materials and design fundamentals.
The design is developed with the mind of internalising through the Japanese style garden, light filled bedroom hallways and double story stone fireplace, all viewed from multiple locations providing linkages to the internal spaces.
